The State I Am In

I'm moving on

Not meaning to be a scenester or anything, but I have no idea about what's going on with this new 20six thing and it looks like more hassle than it's worth. It'a also about time I used my livejournal more, there are communities I'd like to join but can't currently.

Bye bye

Information Technology.

Gah, I really cannot be at all bothered with testing in IT. So, since I've been neglecting poor McBloggity here I thought I'd give it an update. Of course, I come on here all the time and sometimes I even start entries- I just haven't posted one yet.

Not much has happened. Field Music played an ace instore in HMV, I bought some skirts and became addicted to The Mighty Boosh (yeah, I'm slow).

Everyone else in the class is playing games I think. The sort of little stick men running around generic blocks type fare. Oh no, the stick man hit a wall and exploded into some red lines. I thought in this age of MSN, AIM and rest of it, everyone was a super fast typer but there are people in this class that still only use one finger to type. Oh, The Quade Dance is going to be on google videos so I might link to that when it gets verified.

Only Geography left before hometime, then I'll probably just end up in my room in front of the tv for a few hours. Lot to look forward to then, eh?

Blah blah update

I tried to update last night but I couldn't get on the site :/

I haven't done much really, yesterday I saw Brakes in RPM.

and...

Made a Coffee & TV milk carton friend.

Today I've been tidying my room and as a result I have lots of old issues of the NME I am prepared to give away if anyone wants any. (I have about all of 2004/05)

(trainer not included)

Happiness is a list of happy things

My terrible behavior this week (I've been sulking like a 3 year old when things haven't gone my way) can be put to one side because it's shaping up to be a Good Weekend.

My team won at 'drop the bomb' in PE. I've never won at drop the bomb before. This probably has a lot more to do with Nessa, Rach, Alex and Gemma then me though.

My Maxïmo Park 'youth size' t-shirt doesn't seem so boyish anymore.

Tomorrow for Matthew's birthday (which was yesterday) we're going to the Panda- all you can eat Chinese buffet.

The library is having a big booksale in the morning.

Hope everyone else has a good weekend

Updatemabobthingy

I've been neglecting the poor blog haven't I?

I haven't done anything exciting in the last week or so, I've mainly being pretending to revise for the Science module tests last Wednesday and meeting with Kiel and Nagwa at Matthew's house (of course he was there as well).

TV is dire at the moment. All I go out of my way to watch is House. The last ski jumping and ski flying competions of the season are on soon so hopefully I'll catch some of them.

Just letting my readers know I'm alive. I promise to update in the rare occurence something interesting happens.

Entry submitted itself before I thought of a title...

First day back at school was delightfully uneventful. My team came third in dodgeball, although it is a little annoying getting the same charvs 'out' over and over until a teacher is watching. Probably got some work done in Digital Applications, it's a largely forgettable lesson. Mr Bird wrote "Gathoring information" on the board much to my amusement at least. Handed my Romeo and Juliet assignment in, in English, only to get launched straight into poetry. Most interesting moment came when Buffham's computer exploded. By exploded, I mean there was a spark that only a few people saw, a bang, and the smell of smoke for the rest of the lesson.

Afternoon kept up the same level of action- learned sequences in Maths. Hurrah. Discovered if I want to go on the much hyped Movies/Nando's chemistry trip I can't go to see the Secret Machines. Really the only reason I think of seeing Secret Machines now is the money that I paid (or haven't according to Matthew ¬_¬) Twelve-bleeding-fifty for some lame MTV sponsored gig! The support is dreadful as well. Looks like I'll just have to refrain from spending money for a while.

On a lighter note Diet Coke with Cherry is vile, but again I'm drinking it because it cost me the total of 89p. I like diet coke and cherry cola, so I don't know how they fucked this up. It smells really strongly and to an extent tastes of cherry sweets.

Managed to miss most of the team ski jumping with having Matthew over, although I did see the very end. Brilliant jumps from all of the 'anchors'- Ljoekelsoey, Hautamaeki and Morgenstern were brilliant. (yes I copied and pasted those names- I can pronounce them all though :D)

Mother has just informed me she thought this was an essay, probably a good sign to shut up.
